What exactly do they do??? I got quoted 500.00 for the sevice from my ACURA dealer today... Kinda wondering if I can do it all at home... Wondering if I would be able to clean the Fuel Injectors though... Anyone have answers??? Thanks in advance!

IMO, if your car is still running good then I would just wait for the 100K mile tune-up.

BTW, I think $500 is a rip-off!

Don't really know. Probably replace all fluids, as usual, then look your car over for problems so they can get more $$$$ out of you .

This is what Acura should be doing at 90,000 miles.


Recommended at: 30,000; 90,000 Miles

Engine Chassis
Engine oil & filter - change
Air filter - replace
Engine operation - check with scope
Cooling system - inspect & replace engine coolant
V-belts - adjust
Service fuel injection system - check
Exhaust system - inspect components and check emissions
Inspect belts/hoses
Tires - rotate & set tire pressure
Undercarriage - check for damage and condition of rubber boots
Power steering system - check & add fluid

Transmission Brake System
Automatic - replace fluid
Manual - replace fluid
Differential - replace fluid
Components (pads, lines, hoses & calipers) - check condition
Brake fluid - replace
Hand brake - check & adjust

Electrical Miscellaneous
Battery - check
Electrical equipment & lights - check operation
Diagnostic system - check operation
Lubricate chassis, hinges & trunk
Wiper blades - inspect & clean
Test drive car
Wash & vacuum



For peace of mind, I'd probably do it.
