Just thought you guys would like to know since this was a hot topic. I looks like it's not going to happen until 2003 at the earliest. I didn't believe it myself (you'll see my replies) until Park Acura stepped in. I believe him (Wayne) almost all of the time!!

That would be a shame since 6 speed is the trend for all the new cars now. But 2003 is not too far away. Wish it would be sooner. The 6 speed would be a great addition to the TL series.

I am actually kind of glad that the 6 speed is not coming out this year. I would be too tempted to trade my TL-S for a 6 speed.

Well, the rumor (that was supposed to be confirmed) had been for the CL-S, the TL-S was speculated, but not until 2003 anyway. My guess is (and always has been) that the 6-speed will show up in the TL when it's redesigned as a 2004 model. The CL will probably get it for 2003 or 2004 as well.

BTW, that CL-S is a photoshop job from about a year ago. No one knows (yet) what the redesigned front and rear will look like, but probably not too different then the 2001....

Well, they must redesign the parking brake or else it's kidna hard to drive up hills. Look at BMW 3 & 5 seires. They both have handbrake instead of foot operated parking brake.
