At the Chicago Meet on 10-27-02 a cop pulls into the parking lot, and tells someone that the last person out of the parking gets ticketed, as soon as a heard that I busted.....Apparently a CL owner was one of the last to leave and was issued 3 tickets for crap like No Front liscence plate, and No insurance card, or something like that.....I really dont think that the cops can do that since we werent racing, or blasting subs, or pealing out, just meeting and discussing cars and whatnot. Anyways, we really need to find a better spot to meet next time, and suggestions?

Great Turnout though, many Bimmers 1 M5, Lexus, not many tls, but many cls, and i think only 1 civic, and an escalade on 20's with headrest monitors, very phatty.

damn...i would have stayed till everyone left just to prove a point and then fight all those tickets under harassment (if we really weren;t doing anything that warranted him to hae us move )

 

i think he created a more dangerious sitiuation by saying that ...since u have witnesses there i suggest maybe u can help the guy out by coming foward and goin to court with him.

That sucks.....especially when you guys were just sitting around chatting about your cars. The cops probably just got done watching the MTV special on street racing or something!
