2nd gen weights reduction

Beside removing the spare tire, the seats, and other removable junks, what else can we mod to reduce the weights? I know the hood is very heavy, what do we have out there to replace the hood? CF hood is hard to find for our 2nd gen. I saw some of them and they are just looking cheap.

Yeah, thanks for the link though. I have read it, and there is no real solution to weight reduction really. All I can see that is possible is the CF hood, light weight wheels, and light weight battery. Any other things are just dedicated for a track car.

on one of the radiator hoses there is an extra piece of rubber where it attaches to the motor, i would recommend removing that little piece of rubber it drops maybe 2 ounces of weight off the car

Thank you. I will read on with inaccurate.

I don't foresee any more helpful suggestions can be contributed further to this topic. Mod please close this thread if possible.
