What kind of a vague question is that to ask?

You are looking for what kind of answer?

99 TL only has 4 speed tranny
00 and up have 5 speed
01 and up CL had a Type S model (260hp, 17" rims, etc)
02 and up TL had a Type S model (same as above) and the front grill and headlights are different, and the rear tails are red and clear, rather than red and 'fried egg color".

Thats about all I've got for you....

1999 Had only a Hard Drive Navi that could only store 1 region at a time, while 2000+ Had DVD Navi which holds the Whole U.S. instead of 1 region..

the CL would never be for me. I have children so i would never get a 2 dr car. To impractical even if i didnt have kids. Like when you are buying stuff at the store and you have to put stuff in the back, its too hard to get it in and out of a 2 dr. I once put a brand new Kohler toilet bowl from the Home Depot in the back seat of my TL. You just can do stuff like that with a 2 dr.

2dr vs. 4 dr depends on personal preference I guess.

The TL and CL are practically the same car except for the # of doors.

As for me, I am a sedan guy.

Who's Joey? What state/town and should I have called him first? BTW, I saved the 19.99 Depot truck rental fee by taking it out of the box and tossing it in the back, but unfortunately scratched my window tint on the way in with it.

If you are gonna put a toilet bowl in the back seat of your TL, be sure to load it so the flush handle is facing away from the door and window on the way in.....

I'm in love with my 99, but I'd do just about anything for an 03 TLS with Navi.... but I might have to go for the '04 TL, or if thats too pricey, then I'll get the TSX with navi.

Only good thing about the 99 TL are:
1) tranny failures are minimal (compared to the 2000+ models)
2) you can manually change gears from 1st to 2nd (you can't do that in the 2000+ TL as the computer automatically shifts to 2nd for you)

Well obviously 03 if u have the money, as it has more features..

But if you are scared about the tranny going out get a 99..

But they say the 03, New ones have there trannys fixed, even though people still have problems.

Ya if you could wait 3-4 months I would at least consider the 2004 TL Maybe Acura has got there act together and resolved the Tranny Issues by than..

But I cant believe in the 5 Year history of the 2nd Gen that The TRANNY PROB STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED

yeh it is crazy that Acura hasn't fixed the problem yet, the only thing about the 2004TL is the way it looks, I don't want it to look like the Caddy CTS... I like how Acura has it's own style...

Like the CLS 6spd was introduced late, there's talk that a late 04 TL might be a 6spd (type S near 300hp).
