2nd Gen J35 clearance issue

Hey Guys,
Hope someone can help me fix this little problem. I have just finished swapping out a J35A4 into my 99 TL, I'm having issues with the hood clearance as is not closing. I have seen a thread a while back with instructions on how to make it work but I can't find it.
Any of you have any idea how to make it work?

Thanks

either cut some of the hood bracing or space the hinge.

you have to remove the intake manifold spacer. Take off the manifold, there's a ~3" spacer between the manifold and the runners you can remove or mill it down, or prop your hood up (which looks like garbage IMO).

They were added on the J35A4 and J35A3 for added torque. But you'll have plenty with the 3.5 alone.
