My friend is a Director in the BFA program here at The University of Central Florida. I personally think he is one of the best "student directors" I've seen. Anyways, a couple months ago we filmed this short titled "What Comes Around". A scene in this film involves a quick shot of my car, it sounds really great when picked up with a $2,000 microphone. I was the boom operator, so it was fun listening to my own car.

Please watch the film if you have 12 minutes, it's not amateur by any means.

Wow, that was a fantastic short. I'm sure your buddy already knows, but his directing skills are excellent for someone his age.
I like the plot idea as well, nicely thought out.
And of course your TL does sound pretty great and looks slick as well

WOW! thanks for all the great comments guys, I wish the film was longer, but unfortunately longer does not always equal better. I know everyone here has seen a movie and thought it could have been 30 minutes shorter. lol

 

you should do a continuation of the dad like trying to run away in the tl, and have police chasing him and then he gets caught

it would be cool to see a chase with your tl in it
