Post 225-55/16 on stock rims with Comptech springs?

Does anybody have 225-55/16 tires on stock rims and Comptech springs? Does it rub? I remember a long while ago somebody did it and had to upgrade tires to 215-55/16 because of rubbing. However, I also saw some posts here with signatures showing 225-55/16 and Comptech springs. How's it work?

No problems for me. I am loving the look AND feel of both the tires and springs!

Thumbs up

No rubbing at all, even with a car full of people and trunk full of gear.

So, no rubbing even without any fender cut, interesting ... Can it depend on tire brand? I remember that guy who has a problem with 225-55 got Dunlop9000.

R2, what brand of tires you got? Thanks.
