Post 22,500 service (brief story)

I recently took my 2000 TL to get the 22,500 mile service to the David McDavid Acura dealership in Austin.

Three days later over the Easter service (I was now 300 miles away in Fort Worth) I looked at my car and noticed a lugnut missing from the right rear wheel. I tend to drive 90+ on the highway.

I was pissed. This dealership has always been great, but I could not help but imagine what would happen if the wheel would have come off. Even if it had not, the vibration could have caused major problems.

The great folks at Mac Churchill Acura in Fort Worth checked out my wheel and provided me a free lugnut and torqued all the other bolts.

Needless to say, I am looking forward to talking the good folks at David McDavid Acura!! Now I always will check to ensure my lugnuts are installed.

Unhappy

AFter I had my tires rotated, I noticed that the sockets around the lugnuts were spiralled.. another cheap ass lame ass tired ass shop pulled the gun out while it was still spinning and ruined yet another car owners wheels. They chipped the sockets on my Accord wheels, the TL they just marred up the clear coat. I wish I could do my job that bad and still keep it and get paid.
