I have these tires (215/45/17x7) on my TL with Giovanna rims. What do these numbers mean? Are they good tires?
Also, what is an offset number and where can I find it?

Read this topic. Also look at Michelin.com (for example) to explain tire designations. Also some wheel sites have graphics that explain offset.
