Arrow 2003 Windshield Wipers

My 2003 TLS is 4 months old and the winshield wipers are constantly clattering/skipping motion on the window. Is this a known issue? If anyone has experienced this issue please advise me what your fix was. By the way .... I clean the blades on a regular basis and there is no buildup of any sort on them.

Thanks!

Yup, mine does the exact same thing. I thought it was because I applied Rain-X to my windows, but I guess that isn't the problem!

My wipes have been nothing but smooth. Hmmmm....don't read that the wrong way!

Anyway, I wonder if it's cuz I Zaino'd the windshield. Water balls up right away, and wipers just glide on the surface. If that was it, I'd have thought rain-x would have done the same, tho. <shrug> You might try waxing it in any case. Keeps the rain off so well, you don't even need the wipers as much.

try to clay bar the window. chattering happens because contaminants "grab" the wipe blades. my accords were always especially prone to chattering because of the long ass blades for the larger windshields. if you're in a city where there are more pollutants in the air, you might have more of a problem. and actually, applying rain-x or waxing might make it worse.
