2003 Transmision recall
I cant believe it ...i thought it wouldnt happen....but i got a letter today from Acura telling me that there is a recall ....a safety concern with the 2nd gear failing and sticking causing major problems....i am pissed because i was assured when i bought the A-spec that the tranny problems didnt affect the newer modles...its working fine...i havnt had any of the "symptoms" as of yet but they told me today that they have replaced 03's up to 60 and 80k...i am only at 45k now but it concerns me.....anyone else out there in the same boat.....i am sure there are many

Yeah, get the recall done..... and then in less than a month, go back to get your tranny replaced when it fails. Sorry, frustration is talking but this recall basically puts a band-aid on a surgical wound.......
