2003 TL-S tranny DEAD
Took TL in for service and the new tranny is now on order. VIN # 34685. It started downshifing on its own and I took it in for the 7500 mile service. This really bites.

edit: Oh and talk to client services and get that tranny extension for free. Now that it has happened they ought to give you that extension.

They'll cover you! I can't imagine they won't upto 100k. If the tranny is defective, then its defective! My car is an early 2003 so maybe mine is affected as well. We'll see.

**** i got 03 tls in april and i'm covered for the warranty also. I dunno if i should be happy or worry!! I mean sometime when i do like 80 or so on route 3 i'm a little scared b/c of the road construction and all that craps.

I also got my 03 in august, and my production date is 8/02. I had a problem with my trans one night d5 was blinking and when I reved the engine all she would do was slip. The next day it was fine.... ??

I propose Sunday, November 24th in the Natick mall area, since that gives us lots of options for parking lots, food and bars. Plus it's central(ish) to MA, RI, NH and CT.
