2003 TL-S pricing

Thinking about buying the 2003 TL-S now, especially with the 2.9 APR, it sounds like a very good deal, questions is how much will it cost me (in and around NYC) for a TL-S now, and do you think the price will go even lower once the 2004 came out?

Monthly payment from someone else, really does not mean anything without know total cost and down payment.

You should be able to get a TL-S without NAVI for around $29,000. I can't help you with payments or leasing. I bought mine.

Well, 2.9 sounds pretty good to me. I bought last Nov. and quotes were like 5.5 or something. In NY, I'm guess you can pick up a TLS w/out Navi for about $29K as CatchaWave mentioned. I got mine for like 29 w/o Nav. Looking back I should've got Nav, but at the time I needed a car and couldn't wait for one in ABP and Nav to come in. I think in general, the car is cheaper in NJ. Eventually, the 03s will probably go down because they're going to want to clear out their stock.
In NYC ? I'd stay away from Paragon Acura. I heard nightmare stories about them.

thanks a lot guys, just called a dealer, he quoted me for the TL-S without nav for $29,000, but I still think that I can go lower than that, will try another dealer again later, wish me luck.

Yeah, Paragon Sucks. I've been looking for a 2002 TL-S w/ Navi, Silver for some time now, and they e-mailed and told me they had one in stock. I called up specifically to make sure they had the car before I bothered going out there and to confirm it had Navi. They told me it did.

I spent about an hour commuting out their via subways from Manhattan. I get there and they tell me it didn't have Navigation and that the car was on a lift and they wouldn't be able to get it down. When I asked about problems with the Transmissions and Rotors, they said those were RARE problems. I pulled out of my bag the 1100 signatures signed on this websites by Honda/Acura owners w/ trans problems. He said nothing. I walked out of there disgusted.

Good luck w/ your car search.

I bought my 3 months ago before tax at $28.5k including license and destination fee. It's Nighthawk black pearl with Ebony leather 03 TL-S w/o Nav. You should get at this price or even lower.

Good luck!

I got mine for $28.5 also. That seems to be the going rate for a TL-S here in So Cal.

I bought mine certified pre owned. Got a 2003 TL Type S with Navi. Car only had 5K miles on it. Paid $28,000 Much cheaper than sticker. Shoot, they had a TLS without Navi, no onstar and 6000 miles on it as a demo and they wanted $31,000!!!

Plus, longer warranty going certified. I'm all about saving money and buying a slightly used TLs was the best bet for me.

I live in Minneapolis, so things are more pricey here..why..who knows. Best part, since MN used vehicles have license plates that stay with the car, my tags are paid through February 2004 and on a side note, my Onstar is paid through June 2004. I also had them throw in the Acura Care 7yr/100K mile warranty factory bumper to bumper, no deductible coverage. I plan on keeping this car a long time and if the NAVI or VSC goes out, I'm ass out. Not to mention the potential tranny probs. I drive alot, so this was the best bet for me.

Good luck

Okay you peaked my curiosity. What is the "A-SPEC", and how does it differ from the normal TL-S....

I just got my 2003 TL-s in April from my brother who was Sales Mgr at an Acura dealer. He was already discounting the TL to make room for the 2004. Honda is going to stop making the 2003 pretty soon, I think if you wait until the 2004 comes out. You may be finding out that they will not be many of the 2003 left to pick from!
