2003 acura tl vs. 2003 acura tl type s

Is the only difference 35 hp?

17" wheels, stiffer suspension, stability control in addition to traction control, cool Type-S emblems...

there are alot of things that are different. VSA Seats, HP sways, exhaust. larger wheels. do a search the list is stated acouple times

Oh yeah that's right, different exhaust and larger rear sway bar (not sure about the front).

plus a TL-S will blow a TL-P away lol, i have a 02 TL-S stock and beat a TL-P 03 with intake by couple of car lengths

ABP is a beautiful color ... which is what attracted me to the TL on a dealers lot in the first place.

ssm is the way to go, looks too clean with the type S rims, drop and kit

yes SSM is great, it even looks clean when its not lol, and u got to have the kit, doesnt matter what color, the bodykit does alot to the appearance.

Do you know a good place to find a lip kit. I don't want a full body kit I just want a lip kit, any links?? Thanks.

you mean the OEM lip kit? thats what i was refering to as a body kit. I searched a while, best bet is to see if someone is selling on the forum or ebay, if not a original from a dealer can set you back in the 900 dollar range, i got mine from Athens Georgia Acura even though i live in NY, its worth it cause when i went to the NYC dealers, the price range was 1250+ lol

Thanks, yeah I have been looking all over the internet and cant find any. Have to go to the dealers I guess, they paint it right?

its all about availability, if they have that color in stock then they have it, if not then its up to you, they had mine in SSM front and rear but i had to have the sides painted cause they were blue. do the math and shop around before u commit to a purchase.

After painting the sides and installation, was it that much cheaper?

I just said screw it and got it done at the dealer. No issues with colors or availability.
