2002 Tl-s Tailights Look Awesome!
any of you that still have the "fried egg" look tailights with the orange lenses? THROW THEM AWAY! i just installed the 2002 TL-S tails on my 99, with polarg hyper whites. IT'S A WHOLE NEW REAR END! the change is DRAMATIC! with the blue bulbs showing through the clear reverse lights! SUPER CLEAN LOOK! ONE OF THE BEST MODS I'VE EVER DONE! kman

With ALL of your other mods, you just barely installed the 02 tails??
The blueish bulbs in the reverse do look hot.. especially when lit!! :wow:
I don't have a fried egg look in my 02 tails either

forgot my cupholder!
you reminded me, i'm missing the cupholder! wish i knew how to compact all the mod text? anyone ? tell me how to make it look like yours? smaller, this thing is out of control!... thanks, kman

I have a 2001 TL if I order the tails do I need the ones with that wiring harness thingie...? I'm curious becuase not you got me all worked up in getting this mod next. You guys don't help on my savings...

get the harness!
unless you want to tape or rig the 99 harness? it will work, and alot of guys do keep it. i just wanted all the fresh components, and for it to work without additional moddings. there is a small grey connector box that has to be moved ( unscrewed ) from the the old housing on the left rear tail light , and rescrewed into the new tail light housing ( left rear tail light) for the lights to work. 5 minutes...no problem. the hole for the screw is in the new housing just waiting!. remember you have 2 brake lights in the wiring harness, so if you're going to get polarg hypers to replace the stock bulbs, you need to order 4 bulbs, 2 per light, and 2 polarg reverse lights (1 per light). the lights come with a stock orange blinker bulb which works fine. enjoy! kman

I wish i had them. They look so good!! :wow: But, im not ready to pay 500$ (CAN) for taillights..........
