LOL..that's one way to replace both the ball joint and splash guard. but without the ball joint press, how is the new ball joint getting in?
I rented the ball joint press (big C-clamp tool) and the Honda adapter for free (its a modified receiving sleeve the accommodate the weird geometry of the knuckle surface on the top side of the ball joint) and it turned a 30 minute struggle (for first timers) into a 5 minute job (both sides, start to finish).
No splash gaurds were harmed and not a curse word was said.
