2001 TL Mods
I just bought a 2001 TL and am looking to do some mods. All I did so far was changed to iridium plugs and had noticeable mileage increase(first tank 2+ mpg) Anyway, I was thinking about the AEM V2 intake, or something similar. Has anyone heard about the ACP Hyper Voltage system? Is it worth the money? Also, I would have thought someone could do something with the plug wires, but maybe you just can't. I'm new to this vehicle and always owned the small block gm's so any tips would be helpful. Thanks.

I feel you on being new to the engine, I used to have a '90 Chevy with a 350 and I knew everything about it. As far as this car goes, I have heard about the grounding system...just doesnt seem that it would make a difference at all to me. I mean if you have already done everything else, then maybe, but spend your $150 elseware. Intake wise, the AEM V2 is very good or the Injen CAI. nothing to do with the spark plug wires. there isnt a whole lot to do to this engine other than headers, intake, exhaust, pullies. good luck though and have fun

a intake would be a good idea, either the AEM or teh Comptech IceBox. as for doing something for the plug wires, well you cant, we dont have Plug Wires.
