2000 TL - No Heat but lots of AC
Need some help if possible. I have a 2000 TL and just recently there seems to be no heat no matter how high I dial up. I do get plenty of cold air and the AC seems to work. The blower fan works as well. All worked until a few days ago. I have tried setting to Full Auto, Manual Auto and everything in between but still no heat. I did look at the fuses under the hood and all seems okay. Help!, it is starting to get cold in my neck of the woods! Thanks for any help!

It's your mixer motor; it's stuck.
It's located just above where the passengers feet are.
If you look carefully you see a little post sticking out of the vent ducts. If you push up on this post you make jiggle the mixer loose.
If I can take a picture I will...

I agree with this. It sounds like your mix motor

You should hear the mixer motor move. Try this with the car OFF (so you can hear) and key in the accessory position:
Set the air to come out the top vents only.
Turn the fan speed to LOW.
Get down on the passenger floor and put your head near the black ducts.
Turn the temperature up and down between min and max temp.
You should hear the mixer motor opening and closing. If you don't or hear a clicking sound, it is stuck.

Thanks all. I went out and popped the hood and located a mixer valve with a cable on the hose near the firewall that went into the interior where the heater goods are. With the car on and the heat on I juggled it a bit and it moved out. Went back in the car and had heat! So could it be sticking inside as well? Should I just put a little WD40 on the portion under the hood? Thanks! And a BIG thanks to Manapuaman for the link to the service manual. That's where I identified the mixer box and cable.
