Hi, i got the car with no key FOB/remote. How do I find the FCC ID so i can buy a new one to program. Cant find the receiver module on the car. Are all 2000s the same FCC ID or what?

Canada its different...
I think its so post to be on the back unless it wore off...
Is it inside the case on 00's?

there are 2 or 3 remotes with different whatevers inside
When you order one from ebay you have to make sure its a match-A or B to your current one, then program it to the car

call acura canada 1-888-9acura9 register as new owner and explain your plight
there may be a record of what yours is
(that number also answers questions on warranty or recall on your car- ask if everything is taken care of on recalls)
Need cars VIN to register

Ask the Parts Manager at the dealer if they can figure it out based on VIN or other secret method,,they order and program them.. so hopefully....

call a locksmith and ask what to do!

I think i've heard about something where the Canadian remotes aren't the same as the US ones - something to do with the CRTC... not sure...

Ill look on the back of mine, its different with some years though. I think its even different between 02 and 03. (03 has the reverse mirror)
