2000 Acura 3.2TL Timing Belt

I'm trying to minimize cost. Other than the Acura OEM, what replacement brand timing belt including water pump and belt tensioner would you recommend for my 2000 Acura 3.2TL? I've surfed through several brands and what interested me was the Aisin brand.

Welcome!
Scroll through even the new threads that are posted!
and look in the DIY sticky thread at the top. Linked here for you: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/new-official-2nd-gen-tl-diy-thread-706083/

The forum specific search should yield you plenty of results as I have seen 3 threads on the front page alone.
good luck!

The Aisin 5 piece kit (tkh-001) does indeed contain the OEM parts for our cars. Search online for the best price. And yes....you need to replace all 5 parts. I would also replace the crank seal while you're at it since it's right in front of you during the install...

Yeah, as these guys said......go with the full "Aisin" T-belt/component kit for best results.

End of Discussion!
don't forget new ngk irids at 8 bucks each, a 7 dollar PCV valve and you may need valve cover bolt gaskets if you see any oil leaks around them now
Seafoam is your buddy for internal cleaning of engine pre-service

if diy'ng the project- do the valve adjustment and clean the egr system inside intake manifold- which will be off for valve adjust--combine your labor
makes a TL like new at 150kmiles!

Hey guys so I was going to get my Cams replaced as well and found this deal.
Should I get this and get both of them done at the same time while its open?

No Im getting the Timing belt done and everyone says to replace the Cam seals while you are there.
I was wondering if the Parts matched.
And the Crank seal was a good idea to do also.

I meant to say cam SEALS replaced. :P

Personally, I usually don't bother with the cam and crank seals until the second t/belt (200,000+ miles). If you go that far, you should also replace the oil pump to block gasket.
