2 Year Anniversary

We've been together for exactly 2 years now...

Here's a picture from our first day together, December 15, 1999, right before I took her home:

I know, I know- , but I noticed that today was the 15th so I figured I'd post it.

It hasn't been exactly the easiest 2 years with the numerous problems and annoying habbits she's developed, but I think I'll keep her around for a while.

I just made 3 years with my TL yesterday (December 14, 1998). She looks and performed way better now then she did 3 years ago.

My two years was 12-06-01. Total broken parts replaced: one front rotor, driver's seat heat element. That's it. Mileage: 90,000. A great record I'd say. Goal: 250,000.

trying to think back at what I've had done...

transmission replaced (wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear)
center console latch replaced
center console leather replaced
driver side heating element for seat replaced
replaced PCM (part of transmission)
emergeny tranny oil change due to shifting issues
replaced drivers side seat rails 6 SIX times
front rotors resurfaced due to excessive vibration
sunroof squeeking fixed twice
replaced the plastic under the steering wheel (clips broke off)
ENTIRE NAV unit, back to front, replaced due to lines in screen
Comptech Sways were hitting body frame shortly after install (fixed)

Things that are currently annoying:

transmission still gets stuck in 2nd gear (dealer said I use SS too often)
tires rub on sharp turns- 215/55/16 shouldn't (dealer said normal for that size)
driver's side rear speaker squeeks (dealer said it doesn't)
subwoofer rattles like crazy (dealer said... eh, I don't remember)
passenger seatbelt squeeks LOUD!
OEM spoiler rattles on every bump
buzzing noise in rear reat when radio on and volume low (dealer didn't hear it)
driver side squeeking AGAIN, also rocks like hinges are loose
DVD nav still gets interferrence lines in screen (dealer said normal)
NAV is quite far off when in NY (dealer said known issue, no fix)
exhaust ticks near middle of car, sounds like a leak (dealer said they don't hear it)

That's all I can think of right now, I'm sure there's more that I can't think of right now.

It's funny, as I write this, I still feel that I like/love my car even though it has these problems, but while I drive and right after I'm always like "I CAN'T STAND THIS CAR ANYMORE!"
