1st detail!

I got my Black 2002 3.2 TL Type S two weeks ago and started reading this and the autopia forums for every bit of information I could find on how to detail. I made my initial order from Classic Motoring Accessories and spent four hours yesterday on detailing the exterior. It was incredible! I have never worked that hard on a car, and I didn't know if that type of effort would be worth it. I was wrong! I used Pinnacle Clay and Blackfire line of products.

I am considering getting a buffer. My initial thoughts are to get the Porter Cable 7424. Does anyone have any experience with this machine? Thanks in advance for any thoughts or assistance anyone can provide.

Yup I have a PC. Love it. Here's a pic of my hood after using my PC with 3M Swirl Mark Remover (SMR) and a couple of new coats of Z5

Thanks for the feedback. I am in the process of putting my 2nd coat of blackfire on. This is very therapeutic for me.

I bought the Porter Cable 7336SP which replaces the 7424. I got it for $102 shipped from the site below. Free shipping for orders over $70.
