Hi! I wanna know this (for a 1999 TL STOCK):

0-60 time ( 8 sec ??)
Max speed (i once reached 232 km/h (141mph))

and with a AEM CAI ? 0-60 ???

i would not a big difference..i wouldnt be surprised if there wasnt ne difference at all.

I have a 99TL, and I saw pretty nice speed gains after I put in my CAI. My friends and I have this little test where you start at the bottom of this hill, and see how fast you can get when you reach halfway (the top is a dead end, no houses, safe place to test cars). Its roughly a quarter mile uphill. Before the CAI, I would get up to 74mph before reaching the mark. With the CAI I now can get 80. In comparission, my old Vigor would get 70. A BMW 323i Sports Wagon gets 65. Ford Expedition gets 55. Mazda Miata (the basic stick model) gets 62. Anyhow, I was very impressed with getting 6mph more on this test of mine with the CAI.

I believed all TL can get up to 149 mph due to the tires (rated at 149 mph). But the TL-S can get there faster.

For a 99 TL: 0-60 is between 7.2-7.4 secs.
With a CAI, I think you can hit 7 secs flat.

BTW I have a 99 TL with an AEM CAI. But I am planning to get headers and exhausts soon too. These should make me go even faster. With I/H/E, we should be pushing close to 260 hp. Oh, and my personal top speed is 147 mph and it was still pulling.
