Did you have anything extra done besides the 15K service?
It all depends on what you had done. Many dealers will do things that are not necessary at the 15K service. Example: replacing the micron air filters for the A/C system. Changing these out does not need to be done until *at least* 30K (and probably later) but it costs about $100 to do ($30 in parts and $70 in labor). If they just inspected this thing, looked at that thing, topped off fluids and changed your oil and filter then you got ripped off. If they replaced more stuff you may have paid fair market value for the goods and services but you may not have needed them. Remember, one of Acura's marketing angles on the 2002's is no scheduled tune-ups for 105,000 miles. Routine maintenance only is all that is required up to that point, at least as far as Acura's concerned.
Each dealer will charge different prices it also depends on where what they did. I had my 15K service done on my TL at the end of August. I had extra work done on my car the 2 A/C filters were replaced. This was about $116.00 extra added to my bill that total $289.00 Take away that extra $116.00 that brings it down to $173.00. If the dealer did not add MOA OIL TREAT $ 11.70 or SGT FUEL TREAT $10.80 & $5.35 BRAKE CLEANER that would bring my price down around $145.00 not including taxes.

My take on oil treatment, as applied to your situation: why would an engine with only 15K miles need any oil treatment? If you change your oil regularly (whether it be 3K, 5K, 7.5K) and do other engine-related maintenance at required intervals, there is really no need for that kind of stuff.
As far as fuel treatment: it's so-called primary purpose is to purportedly reduce deposits on fuel injector nozzles. Again, it may or may not reduce deposits; however, in the end, nothing will totally clean/unclog injectors except a real fuel injector cleaning job (actually taking out the injectors).
I'm sure someone more knowledgeable about this will come by to clarify, correct, or explain in more detail. I'm not saying that I wouldn't necessarily put the stuff in my car if someone gave me cases of the stuff for free, but that I will never pay for any of it. Even then, I still might not put any of it in my car.
I dunno--maybe in the overall scheme of things, the cost issue wasn't a big deal to you, or perhaps you just wanted peace of mind; I can understand that...

I am not a new to Honda products for the last 20 I owned 3 Honda Automobiles. The Hondas I had serviced at the same dealership most of the time. The HONDA dealership nver put anything in the cars that I can remember. But in this ACURA dealerships SCHEDULE MAINTENACE BOOK they have the BG products service kit listed. It is put in at certain mileage intervals.
Also with my sister DODGE VAN that dealership did the same thing. They also had a top notch Benz dealership next door.
Even Pat Goss that has the Motor Week TV show uses this in his autoshop. I see ACURA does not recommend them but alot of top notch places use them.

I paid roughly around 200 for my 15k mile service. They replaced all the filters (except the CAI) and replaced all the brake pads even though they were only .5mm thinner than new ones.
