Took my '00 TL for its 15K mile check up (actually my wife took it in as I didn't want to take the day off...bad move)...walked out $326 lighter in the pocket ($200 in labor!). Anybody else ripped off like this? They barely had any work to do and took three hours to do it...if I was there I would have told them where to stick their checkup! Is this the standard 15K mile checkup everyone is being subjected to? Needless to say, I will not be back at Acura of Milford and will not be buying my MDX/Type S there!

Iam also about do for that service but in my case I have had my TL 18 months. So if they do what the service manual & there dealer service schedule say its worth the money. I don't think they do all that stuff but I could be wrong. I can't get how they charge for tire rotation. I always tell them not to rotate I get that done free at NTB. The labor charges always get you a large bill.
What is the average rate for labor charges for auto techs now about $70 per hour?
