15000 mile service
Well I took my baby for the 15K service this morning.
They gave me an '04 TSX.
Here's my review on that:
Pros: -Excellent seats, easy to position yourself where you want.
-What can I say, got to love the telescopic steering wheel.
-Controls for FWD/Back for radio and FM1,2 and AM
selection on the steering wheel.
-Very quite for its class.
-Good power
-Handles very nice and absorbs bumps good.
-MPG, looks like you can get excellent MPG. So far 35 miles
and the needle is still in the same place.
-Dual front A/C.
Cons: -Hard to reach seat controls
-Stereo not as good as the TLS, even with separate
tweeters in front.
-Good power but certainly not even close to TLS.
-No heated side view mirrors. Needed those this
morning.
Just want it to share my experience with the TSX.
On a sad note, they still have my TLS and I want it back.
PS. I took Mobil 1 and K&N oil filter so they can use that, will see how it performs after that.

I brought my car in today also. I got a 2004 Ford F-150 from Enterprise. The version I got is actually an expensive version. The truck is huge. Less ergonomic than the previous model, IMO. But the interior/exterior styling (in-person) is a big step up form last year. I wanted an Acura for the day...oh well.
I liked the TSX, but as you stated...It just doesn't compare to the TL-S!

The two things I didn't like about the TSX were:
a) The center console was in a weird position for me. In my '02 TLS, the center console was arranged in a way where I didn't have to reach for the radio controls. Bascially, the TSX's center console is a bit too high for me.
b) The lag-time needed to convert HP into forward movement (forgot the term) seems longer than the TLS.

I just had a 15,000 mile service, Dealer quoted $229.95 less my free oil change and tire rotation ($57.00) and than knocked another $25 off. This also included a transmission service and replace air filter, both of which are not on the Acura standard 15,000 mile service.
