Generally still a smooth ride, but bumps are harder... wondering if changing the struts/shocks would smoothen it out...
Have anyone tried the KYB shock absorbers?

Shocks typically last 50k. Depending on how and where the car is driven its possible to get more. Most never notice them wearing out as they slowly degrade over time. I would replace them. KYB is a good "stock" replacement alternative.

I replaced mine at 155 k and was waay overdue. I went with b&g shocks and spring set cuz it was only $100 more then oem shocks and they came with springs. It lowered it an inche and a half but car looks and handles 3x better!
The ride is comfortable also like stock best of both worlds! Many people went with this setup after me and from what I read they all like the setup!
