Talking 12000 miles and counting

So far, so good:


GAS INFO:
AVG MILES PER TANK 342
AVG MILES PER GALLON 25.1
MOST MILES PER TANK 428
MOST GALLONS ON FILL 15.9


SERVICE INFO:
No problems during all required maintenance
Had the sunroof tape applied at 7500 mile, no problem since


Car has been great.
Good thing I didn't lease.

HOLY ****!!! 12,000 MILES!!! WHEN DID YOU GET THE CAR??

i thought i had alot of miles.. i just turned 4500 and i bought it on may 12th. good to know you have no real problems... and either do i.

I have about 10500 on mine, which I bought 4/23.

Oblio, I'd probably have you if I didn't have the bad tranny thing when I didn't drive my car for almost 2 weeks. I'll catch you yet!!!

Glad you are back on the road, and yes, you probably would have me beat. I'm glad I did not experience the same "detours" you had!

Has your mileage been about the same? (I don't baby it, but I do drive a lot of highway miles)

BTW - I got my TL-S on 3/20....

Yep, my mileage has been about the same. The best mpg for a tank was 33.4 (trip from Roanoke, VA to Bridgewater, NJ, cruise set between 70 and 75 the whole way with only one stop). The worst was about 22 with a mix of hwy and city driving. Most of the time I average about 28-29 on the hwy. I usually travel to NC and SC where the speed limit is 70 so I keep the cruise on 80 (I also usually need the AC). I think for that trip to NJ, I didn't need the AC for most of the trip.
