This looks like Honda/Acura is going the right way on their designs.

Looks nice! I like how the rear tails look like they're tinted compared to the Concept TL ... Unless they're just taped down

Really? Personally, I was not a fan of FR back in 99.

To each their own. I hope you get it too.

The exhaust looks pretty sweet.....very different from other Honda & Acuras. Depending how the Factory 18s turn out, I may have to swap my Type S rims for them.

Too me all the colors(except aegean blue) are just too bland. They need to spice it up a little. Now if they come out with a yellow color, i will be all over it! But i will not pay over $37000

Wow, maybe I am getting too old. MY 03 TLS-Navi is Silver and my 99-Navi was Black.

the honda inspire is the usdm 7th gen accord. they would NEVER sell that as the new TL here.

Anyone knows where I could get wheels very similar to those of the Concept TL ? Who do you think manufactures those for Acura?

The antenna could be OnStar ... My car has an OnStar antenna on it :

But I'd bet that its an XM Satellite Radio antenna and not an OnStar antenna.

If I had to take a guess, it is like the dual-duty antenna on the new.

The 04 RL antenna is for both XM And On-Star. Which, by the way, does not seem to appear in any photographs on acura.com

The antenna you see is 100% ONSTAR. I have XM radio and a seperate magnet mount antenna on my trunk directily in front of the 3rd brake light.

My 2003 has this antenna. I wish my XM antenna was integrated like the 04 RL

Makes sense for the antenna. How about those wheels? Who would make those for Acura?

Ah, that'd be sweet if its both! Thats definitely a possibility.

And CJITTY, on the NEW 2004 TL (not the picture I posted of my '03), its definitely possible to have the dual-purpose antenna. Just because you don't have it doesn't mean the new '04 TL can't.

I have seen the antenna on the RL in person, it is not great, but I could definitely get used to it!

Look at GM, they but the XM antenna on various roof locations including the front, center and the front, driver's side. Their locations are hideous.

To make things worse, if you have a GM with XM and On-Star, you get another antenna (usually on the rear, side window or on the left hand side of the rear window that looks like an old cell phone antenna. Yuck!

Acura has been going for a Euro style to compete with the likes of BMW and Audi. Most reviews of the TSX have said that the interior is very Euro and rivals that of the Euro cars its competing with (A4, 3 series).

I would imagine the TL interior would be just as nice, if not nicer then the TSX.

Re: 04' TL Spied, production pictures.

Anyone notice that there is less wheel gap...Is this because of the 18" wheels ?

Also no side turn-signal indicator... would have thought they'd have that.

I want to know what the 6spd HPT model is. It would be really sweet if HPT really did stand for Hybrid PowerTrain and it had the DualNote concept type engine. Either that or if it was some sortof SMG type of 6 speed transmission.

But most likely like it was said in the other thread, it probably stands for High Performance Touring, kindof like the Sport package for the 3 Series.

I would probably be thrilled with either Hybrid Power Train (less likely because I think powertrain is considered one word) or High Performance Touring.

The suspense is killing me.

If our guesses are accurate, this could be why there will not be a Type-S.
