i have in my TL...I had him by a car, but when I shifted to 4th is when he pulled hard and I lost...i know they are faster to 100 than my TLP...Shyne

I take it there is some problem with inquiring about the performance of our fine automobile's vs. new competition which has just made it to the streets in recent months?

No, not at all. He is referring to the fact that this topic has been discussed NUMEROUS times and since a race between the two can go either way, there is a lot of controversy over which one is faster. Then, of course, you have some Maxima guys come over and say how their car is cheaper, faster, and better than the TL-S. Just do a search and you will see many threads on this topic.

The reference to the thread was that this is generally over-discussed, which doesn't bother me in the least, but for many of us it's like the "same old song" ...TL vx. GTGP, TL-S vs. WRX, etc.
I check the 5-60 rolling start times in some of the car magazines: if you want to be a cynic, you can add about .5 second to the times but they are pretty much right as long as you have the same transmission (be it auto or manual).
I don't get it on on the street because it can cause someone's road rage fuse to get lit, and then someone has a problem. If you find a speedway, that's the proper route to follow, not the FAST & FURIOUS thing--it may be cool until someone gets a ticket or gets hurt--mind you, I am not telling anyone what to do, I'm just saying that at 50 years old my b@lls may have shrunk a little . . .
: ) But anyone who wants to race, heck, that gives the troopers extra state revenue that is so badly needed!
