02 TL-S airbox

I noticed one of the 2 little tabs holding the rear of my airbox has been broken. I asked the dealer about replacing it, but since I had a comptech filter in, that I installed, I must have been the one to do it. Nevermind the 2 other times I had it in for the oil changes or the standard 20k tranny swap. Now, at 24k, my front rotors are warped, but I'm working on getting them real warped so its not even debateble.
Anyway, it someone has a stock 02 TL-S airbox that they'd like to part with, I'm your man. Dealer wants way too much..... duh.

Thanks!

Dan

I agree. If it costs more than $200 to get new box, I would rather go with CAI.

Just my $0.02

Cheers.

Not lucky lately

I'm personnaly a beleiver in the CAI as well. I've just had horrible luck with cars lately, and I'm paranoid about messing with my warranty. I'd bet the service rep. would have tried to blame the tranny failure on the Comptech air filter if he thought he could get away it. I had a headggasket blow at 64k miles on my Expedition and the tranny go out on my Acura in the same week.
My Expo. was all modded out but I didn't want to dump $1700 into the repair so I traded it in on a 03 Sequoia, with the 100k warranty. Had great luck with Toyota's in the past, so hopefully one less vehicle to worry about.
And I figured, with all the CAI installs going on here, I could find one for cheap.

Thanks for the recommendation though!
