Unhappy 02 Taillight question? help ASAP

hey

whats up? me and got_3.2? (mike) installed his 02/03 tails on his new 00 TL. They are real honda ones not the knockoffs. He had them put on on his 1st 00 TL with no problems. now today when we put in his tails his brake lamp light popped up but all his lights still work. we disaasembled his tails and we disconnected the 1 box thats not connected to anything thats screwed into the tail assembly. when we did that the brake lamp light went off and everthing was fine. What does that box do? mayb its the turn light bulb? mayb loose connection? but i think the problem lays in that 1 box becasue the brake lamp turns off when we disconnect that 1 box. maybe we dont have to connect that box to the harness.

thanks

steve

Yeah I know what you're talking about. I found that box only on the left tailight. But mine was plugged in to some wire harness.. Im not sure what it does either..
