If you decide to get an '03 check the car's VIN to make sure it is an 03 that has the tranny warranty extension to 100K. All 02s are covered, some 03s are not....something to consider if you plan on keeping the car 50 - 100K.

Good Point. I'm just out of the vin range, so I don't get it to 100K

I have an 03. Where can you go to check if your VIN is covered by the 100k warrenty? Online or just call a dealer?

Thanks!

You can go to Acura Owner Link online and put your VIN in and it will show the warranty extension if your vehicle is covered or you can ask the dealer.

Here is a link to Owner Link: http://www.acura.com/owning/owning_index.asp

from what i read prior to purchasing a 2k2 TL-S, the navigation on a 2K2 tends to crash while operating the air conditioning. I would look for a low 2k2 TL-S model instead of a 2K3 TL-S because of tranny warranty, cheaper purchase price and onstar spyware....if you do decide to purchase a navigation system then, purchase a 2k3 TL-S.

good luck hunting !!!
