Wrong. If both models are 2000 and none has a manual, the TL will beat it 0-60 and in the 1/4 mile. Check car-stats.com: the TL is faster by a full second to 60 and a full second in the 1/4 mile.

I got completely owned by a 300M in my '99 TL-P. We both gunned it at 80mph...got up to about 120 on the highway. He stayed in front the whole time by half a car length. Now my Type-S might have given the 300M a good run but those things have some power..don't underestimate them. :p Good luck!

i have smoked the 300M every time i raced it. my friend has one from a dead stop you will take it! even on the hwy, unless you cant get to 3rd you will smoke it. all out the TL owns the 300M

Had you been racing 0 to 60 you would have beaten him.
I made the same mistake with a Saab when I first got my TL; we gunned at over 75mph and he gained on me. Two minutes later we had to slow to 30mph or so and I gunned again in 3rd gear and pulled quickly on him.

not to hack the board but im really sick of fcukin Tiberons tryin 2 race me ..............they are like crack ho's u can dress um up w some fine accessories and some nice lookin things but under it all they are still garbage.................
