Post 0-60 Stock TL

whats the real 0-60 on the TL? Acura said it was 7.8 sec and ive been reading some of the dissucion saying that its around 7 - 7.4 sec. thats a big difference having to go 7 than close to 8

In real world conditions, i would say that 7.4 is more accurate. They don't say the exact conditions they did the testing on. Fuel level, wheather, driver, road, etc...

Honduh isn't going to put the actual time that they could get.

They put somethig less than optimal so that if you do get faster, you'll feel better. But if they said that the car got 7.4 and you can only get 7.8, you would think there was something wrong..

Just like many things out there, they can actualy go faster than stated, hold more wieght, last longer, etc...

They are just covering their ass.

Motor Trend posted 6.7 seconds for the plain ol' TL but they usually post faster times than the other mags.

I believe the 99 TL times are 7.0-7.4 and the 00-02TL are 6.8-7.2. The Type-S should be around 6.3-6.7.
Correct me if I am wrong.

No two cars are alike. There will definately be differences between the test times as a result of this and b/c of other factors such as temperature, etc...
