--=Couldn't install short ram=--

I called my mechanic this morning to install a short ram for my '00 TL, he said that he couldn't do it 'cuase some sensors were there or something, does anyone know what he's talking about? 'cause I don't... ... Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Try another mechanic or just do it yourself. There is no sensor and you don't even have to disconnect anything. It is pretty straight forward.

Your mechanic is an idiot. There is no sensors around the intake area. It is a very quick install. You don't even need to take out the resonator.

He probably thinks that there are sensors on the intake itself like there is on other cars. What he doesnt know is that our sensors are on the throttel body i believe.

short rams are actually very easy to install even with the crappy instructions. now with the long one that kinda sucks but its still not that hard. the driver side wheel has to be removed along with all the wheel well skirt. i personnally removed every damn piece of stock components. took me an hour and a half and i took my time not to scratch my car.
