What have people done to a Aegean Blue TL-Type-S? Anyone change the Grill? I was thinking of Debadging the Trunk but what else? Something to make it stand out and different from others ya know. Thanks

 

nice color choice! i got the oem bodykit i think it adds a different look to the car. i also debadged mine too, it looks much cleaner. i am also looking for something else to add to my car. does anyone know of a good place for window tinting in san jose?

 

That's a beautiful color, great choice. You can get a couple different grilles for the front of your car, and yes, debadging the trunk would make it stand out a bit. If you really want it to stand out, and if you have the means for it, go for the body kit.

 

why don't you wack it with an ax in the middle of the trunk and leave the ax in there. That will sure make it stand out.

 

In my opinion, the TL-S looks perfect to me. I don't have to do anything to make it any prettier.

Nice color choice! I have a 2003 AGP TLS mtself, and i'm in love!
I've only had it for two months and i'm still trying to get rid of my 97 CL, so I haven't gone to crazy on the TL yet. Try starting with some tint, thats what I did. I wouldn't go to dark if I were you, I went 50% all around and I think its perfect. Sometimes its dark and sometimes its light. All depends on what time of the day.
Then maybee a body kit! I know acura wants an arm and a leg but you can get one here for 829.00. Almost half price! I will soon be a premium member, but until then I can't post pics. So gimmie your e mail if you want and i'll send you some pics.

 

One of the nicest TL-S I've seen belongs to "Stanman" and it happens to be that color... you might want to "PM" him for some pics...

You can do some custom mesh on the grills.. or you can do what SlyTLS did and have part of the grill painted to match the car. That is different and will make it stand out. I also have an ABP TL-S... so feel free to click the link below for some pics. I haven't done a lot... but enough that it stands apart from the occassional ABP TLS I see on the road....

Melo, you're right...Lucky Devin, there are no aftermarket grills for the '02 or '03 TLs...the only other oprion for a grill is that off a Honda Inspire or Saber (Japanese version of the TL). The aftermarket grills available are for '01 & earlier.

My bad, my bad, I had forgotten about the substantial increace of the size of the grilles for '02 and so on. Still, I'm sure some good custom work could be done with some mesh or some thing like that .
