Wheel Spacers

Who has them? Are they safe to use with SH-AWD? I had some 25mm Ichiba v2's on my 8th gen Accord with 18's aspecs and it looked very nice and flush. Made the car handle better because of its wider stance also. I'm thinking about putting some on the rear so that my rear wheels (Aspecs) sit flush with the fender and gives the car a wide stance. Thanks!

Also: I'll probably just be running a 15-20 mm on the rear. Dont want anything too aggressive

LOL Thanks. I saw all of those threads except for the most recent one you posted. Guy said he ran it on his MDX no problem. I'm going to search in the MDX forum and see if I find anymore info on it.

Right on... honestly if the spacer leaves enough stud for the lug nut to seat on and the wheel is centered then you are good.

The only issue would be if you really set the wheel out and started to put the wheel bearings in a bind.

I'm going to get the spacers that have lugs on them. I don't like not having them threaded all the way down.

I can see more stress being put on the suspension components so I'll have to think it through before I go ahead with it. I was good with the accord for 30K miles but that was a brand new car.

I don't think that spacer will cause any issues on the suspension, and the lugs being set up like that eliminates the other concern.

I don't see any issue with the suspension either. The only thing I can think of is hub-centric versus the other-centric. Ring-centric?

Mr. Bond, are these ^^^ the one that you were refering to on my thread ? If so, I guess Ichiba dont make them in 5x120 even less in 5x120 to 5x114.3.

Those aren't exactly what I was thinking of as they have only recently been posted. I don't remember who said they had luck with spacers/adapters. If my computer were handy, I would do a search.

Ichiba makes 5x120 with 64.1 center bore (fits our cars) I do not know about the adapters to 5x114.3

I have a feeling you'd have to deal with a 2 or 3" spacer before you see any hub issues...
Not sure how it works on the AWD, but on the 3G I was able to work around my hubs to swap out studs.

I have 40MM extended studs now so best of both worlds...long enough for a 10MM V1 spacer but short enough to use stock lugnuts with NO spacer.

J.

Spacers are just fine.

any of you have photos from the rear to show us how the car looks with spacers on it?

i'd consider mild spacers to remove some of the sunken in look that I now have iwth H&R springs... it's not bad...but i think the car might look slightly better if the wheels/tires were pushed out slightly...
