Tire on new A-Spec

I just got the 06 A-Spec. It came with the Michelin Pilot Sports. I have read on here that many people say the Pirelli P Nero Zero M+S have a quieter and smoother ride. Should I consider getting these tires? Is there a market for the Michelin's that only have 250 miles on them? I know the Michelin's are a more expensive tire.

FIrst, moving to the tires subforum.

Second, the pilot sport that you have are summer tires. The pirellis you are talking about are all season. Do you need all season tires?

As far as trading in, you can find some places that will take trade ins. I know my local place will take trade ins on tires upto 200 miles. about your area - but perhaps you can look into this. I got 140 each for my stock OEM 17" tires. You should get roughly 150 for the pilots (just a guess)

Just ride them out....I don't believe it is worth the trade. Even though these tires are Max Summer performance, they do ok in the winter (as long as there is no precipitation and you don't do any sporty manuvers below 50 degrees out...the compounds in summer only tires tend to stiffen and lose traction). If you live in the snow belt, definitely get a set of snow tires on steel rims.

I wouldn't say those tires do anythign in snow except slide around....just my experience with them in less than 1" of snow.
