Sure, however I am working on the issues i have with the car. I bought it about a month ago for 4800$ taxes in, it had 165k. I had to fix a lot of things: brakes, new tires+used rims, had rust on left side roof near A-pillar and it's still leaking when it rains hard. Seats are ripped, left headlight flickers (ordered used ballast+igniter for 110$ from ebay) and faded (gonna use sylvania headlight kit). Good thing is i do all the work other than body stuff. Other than cosmetic stuff it is, mechanically, really good. Do you know anyone who can fix seats? I have attached pictures below.

Perks of the high mileage RL club..
I was quoted $700 to fix both my seat bottoms & armrest from a local shop. Haven't bit that bullet yet though..
She looks good though & you lucked out with an Aspec

Here are my photos of my 19" VMR wheels. Thanks to Tracy from VMR wheels for the excellent help from getting the specs to my liking and his suggestions. Well recommended from this satisfied customer. And, finally after almost 2 years after I purchased these wheels, I get the time from my busy schedule to finally mount them onto my RL. I am already lowered on H&R lowering springs so the ride height is not stock, which soon will be switched out for my Largus full body coilovers. Enjoy!

This is my new setup. This wheel size and offset places emphasis on function and form rather than trying to fit the widest wheels with the least offset / read: Adult Built!
The fenders are not rolled and they do not rub. No compromises in handling and the steering feel is as close to OEM as intended. Full M1 body kit in the painters. Stay tuned.

For comparison, this old set up with 19x9.5 +25 needed massive fender work in order to run without rubbing. The looks are sublime but in all honestly my new set up above corners as if on rails and I would never trade my new for the old..... As you can see below, I have been there done that. So it all depends upon taste.

The new setup is clean! Do you happen to have a head on shot or a more frontal view? I have some 19x8.5 +35 and want to get an idea of how it sits in relation to the fender. Planning on running a 245/40 as well.

man, am i glad i decided to check this thread out. currently in the market for the RL. this wouldve saved me so much headaches for wheel fitments. currently drive a static 6th gen accord, any ideas on what specs to achieve the same or similar look as it? my current wheel specs are 18x9.5 +22 with 215/35 squared

The largest problems you will face with a KB1 is that it is a 120 PCD pitch and that you need lots of front caliper clearance. The second obstacle is that the thing is a heavy car. The weight rating is a safety issue that should not be ignored. Also this being a AWD set up, a square fitment is a no brainer.... some have successfully made off with 225/35-19 and 255/30-19 and kept the diameter as close to F/R as possible. No longer wheel studs are available in a M14x1.5 as I know of so the saga is this. Test fit the wheels and see if the calipers clear ...... This is a helpful site.

Anything over 9.5J width with +30 or less will not work unless you are willing to stretch tires and utilize natural camber to tuck....... best of luck.

I appreciate the pictures! exactly what I needed to see. I currently have a 19x8.5 +35/22 set and was maybe hoping it was slightly more aggressive up front. I avoid spacers if possible. I guess I can try and source another +22 pair but 19" SSR Type F in 5x120 is nearly impossible lol

Hi,
Nice thread, beutiful Legends/RLs.
I'm running Dezent TX wheels today 18x8 ET45 with a 235/45-18 Goodyear Eagle F1.
Really want to try something bigger now.
Do you think that a 20x9 wheel with ET38 will fit in the wheel wells of the Legend/RL? (Exclude the caliper for now, I know the issues with it)
With this I am thinking a 255/30-20 or likely. Please input.
Also considering a drop with this setup. Probably H&R springs.
Does anyone use camber adjustments in the front or is the camber ok with the HR drop?
Also saw that some of you run 20x10 with some rolling of fenders. Thats crazy wide! Looks awesome.
Hope someone can answer some of my questions,
Thanks in advance

I have the A-spec wheels on my 2008 RL, Has anyone experienced chrome flaking or peeling off rims? I went to two local repair wheel shops and they can't do chrome, only powder coating which at $600 for all 4 wheels is kind of tempting. Any luck with powder coating the A-spec wheels? Pictures?
