Selecting wheels for the RL..

I thought having had a legend coupe was tough... the front calipers and that 5x120 mess is a whole different animal.
i cant seem to find a wheel design im in love with so far. Ive run through countless wheel shops both physically and digitally. Ideally I would like something with a steplip. Really not much a fan of flush faced wheels especially for the RL..
Even the few wheels ive seen are just maybes nothings really grabbed my definitive attention.

With that said I realize this is generally speaking on behalf of cast wheels for the most part, I imagine the options are essentially limitless with 2 and 3pc customs. I really didnt want to spend anymore than 480 per wheel...
at this point my mind ia numb, almost feel like just throwing in the towel on wheels lol.

Id like to invite any and all wheel heads to post up any lipped wheels that i may have missed or could/would fit the RL with little to no modifications 19 or 20...
No rush... Im all ears... 😩

like you said, you're limited to the ugly ones.
hope you find a set you enjoy in the specs that fit

So im still at it, its been a grueling process and I've still a little ways to go. Although I think Iv'e found a wheel that provides a look with a "lip" that I'm willing to make a compromise with.
Aside from being limited to the platforms specs I'm also limited to my budget and more over the non aggressive fitment approach im trying to go for (weather/region) etc...

"Ugly" is a bit harsh, at the end of the day to each his own, but rather the RL is such a sleeper car, you can easily miss its elegance and beautiful lines/refinement at quick glance and so with that said I just feel its a car that deserves an equally unique wheel without being too noisy. lets face the right wheel really brings this car to life and puts it center stage. I also believe that if I'm going to make this kind of purchase i feel the wheel can't be mistaken for a factory wheel.
although as of late i've really been contemplating sourcing those Diamond Cut TL factory option wheels for off season rollers!

I just went with the BMW M3 wheels in flat black, options are very limited. Look on BMW M3 forums for wheel choices......
