RL Newbie Needs the Scoop

RL Newbie Needs the Scoop
Test Drove an 08 TL Type-S and an 07 RL. Liked the handling, Nav/Stereo in the Type-S but the ride was too stiff for my liking.
Is it true stereo in RL with Tech Pkg is just as good as Type-S?
I liked the ride of the RL, but there was a little too much body roll. The styling is a little bland but I'm retiring from my tuner days. Coming from a 350HP Volvo S60R AWD with electronic adjustable suspension, but want something a little bigger and more of a luxury cruiser while still maintaining some sportiness. So my new ride, I won't we lowering it as I have on previous rides.
Is there an A-Spec kit for RL with wheels, body kit, and suspension? I imagine it would be too rich for my blood as my budger is under $30K including tax and I want to get an RL under 35K miles so I'll probably have little leftover for mods.
I'm thinking used 18" wheels and tires and a stiffer rear sway bar may be the best bang for the buck to get me to where I'd like to be, or at least a little closer.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The A-spec suspension is $600ish plus labor. It's widely regarded as the best upgrade dollar for dollar perhaps followed by 18" wheels (though not necessarily the a-spec ones, which are nice enough) due to the better selection of 18" tires. There are Mugen and A-spec body kits and ala carte pieces, and there are folks who put an '09+ up sway bar in back (the front is a pita). Search the forum, as all are here (even a thread on upgrade parts).

The TL-S is going to feel more responsive and faster, but its power is limited with FWD (especially in turns). RL can feel a bit sluggish at low speeds with the AWD and lack of TQ. They are definitely different vehicles.
The ASPEC suspension and upgrade wheels will certainly improve the ride, and isn't too stiff. I would pass on the body kit, unless its a must for you.
In regards to the radio, the RL setup does seem more robust. Also, they are produced by different manufactures (bose v ELS).
