I bought a set of PAX take-offs off eBay a while back...close to new (95% tread remaining), mounted (near mint wheels), TPMS, center caps. $700 shipped. The only thing missing was one valve cap!

Had them balanced and installed this morning. Nice to have some tread. After 52,500 miles the original PAX were nearing their end.

Took about a mile for the TPMS to kick in but no issues there. Car seems to ride better too (could be the placebo effect).

Went to the Goodyear dealer (Acura is closed on Sunday and wanted to charge more anyway) who also did a free rotate and balance on the MDX (which I used to carry the PAX in) since it was included when I bought my MDX tires there. Tech said he'd never seen that (PAX) size tire before.

That was a great deal!

Never had any real gripes about the PAX but the replacement cost and weight. What will you do with the old ones? Re-PAX with x-ice? You may be able to get a good deal on X-ice PAX tires!
