Questions on Load index (Max load) 98V V.S. 96W
I noticed my new 18" tire 245/45ZR18 had load index less than my OEM 17" tire which has load index 98V (750KG/1653 Lbs) on tire wall.
Is this OK to use Firelli P zero Nero M+S with Max load 96W (710Kg/1565 Lbs)?
Thanks

I have seen the dealer sells the A spec 18" wheel and recommend Michelin sport A/S 245/45ZR18 96Y tires. I guess that I am fine with Firelli 18" 96W load index.
96=1565 Lbs
98=1653 Lbs
Anyone has any opinion on this?

It's OK to use the 96W tires. The max load on each tire is 1565 lb, so the max weight the tires will support is far greater than the 4k pounds of the car + max load allowance for this car.
Many of our members run the Pirellis and I plan to switch to them myself once my Toyos (as much as I like them) wear out in another 10-15k miles.
