Hi, I just my put summer set up on my RL, 19" wheels with 255/40/19 tires and want to know what PSI work best for 19" tires? For now ( 1-st day)I have 35 PSI and I think I can go little higher, 37-38 PSI ? Tx.

I'd run 40 front and 38 rear. What wheels did you go with ? Any pics ?.

I've been running 35lbs all around. Other suggestions would be helpful to me too.

slawek65's pics, the bbs look sick

Treblig you want some difference front to back as the RL is a nose heavy car. It'll help reduce some understeer.

Slawek, those rims look great! How much do they weigh in comparison to the OEM's?

You know what, I did weight BBS before I install tires and BBS weight 19 lb each, but I don't know how much OEM wheel weight.

I understand from RonJon that the OEM 17s weight somewhere around 26-27 lbs. Can someone else verify this? I should be able to find out my self in the next few days...

The total weight of the oem combo is 52 lb (rim and tire) according to a RL magazine article I have and the tire is listed to weigh 26 lb, so yep the rim should also be ~26 lb.

Thanks Touge. Went with 37 lbs in front and 35 lbs in back. Feels a bit sharper now.

I just put on my 19's and they put them at 35 all the way around. Touge, any downside to the higher inflation???

The ride gets stiffer, but other than that you should be ok. I always like to but a bit more when I get low profile tires and big rims. It helps protect the lip from bending incase you hit a big pothole.
