New wheel on tire rack site - opinions???

what do you all think of these...

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

they are smilar to the OEM 17" wheel... in that they have large wide spokes..but with a split thing at the end.. and they are larger at 18"... weight is good. price is good.

just wondered what the consensus was on these..

i'm leaning toward sourcing a nice used set of OEM aspecs.. 18"
trying to see what kind of a deal I could get on ron jon revs in 18".
or something from tire rack...

i really like the look of 19" wheels... but don't want to spend the extra mnoey for bigger wheels and bigget tires.. the prices on 19" tires alone are quite a bit more than 18....

i tried to copy the picture that tirerack made of my car with these wheels...but it won't work.... they honestly dont' look bad on the pic that tire rack does... much better than the OEM wheels..despite the wheels being "similar"....

if you have the time, pull up the wheels on tire rack and then configure them onto an RL and see what you think.

this is the one I was gonna get for Genny in 20", I think 18's would look nice on the RL

I commented in the other thread you accidentally posted in. I'm not feeling them. Revs or black chrome Aspecs would be better.

The first wheels look like Audi stockers... Not digging them.

The first ones aren't spokey enough for me, but they're a far cry from Audi stockers -- just saw a new Audi and holey-smokes, are they putting some nice oem wheels on those cars!

The Avarus wheels are good looking! If I hadn't lucked into a very good deal on TSW, it was going to be a set of the Avarus.

I park next to an A5 every day and the wheels are sharp. At least 19"s. I'm with ballinger.

Are those the same as he posted? It seems that the ones you posted were older.

LoL, I was merely stating that the wheels in OPs post resemble old style Audi wheels not our wheels and that they were not a good looking wheel.

Of course a brand new car will have bigger, sexier wheels. That wasn't the point.

+1. On style but ...

If open style mag wheels had built-in shields there would be so much less problems with brakes and rotors.
Com on guys ... design them with shields that protect.
Use contrasting metal, colors, spinners, even clear disks that protect our important wheels, brakes, and rotors !!

I'll take the wheel ventilation over shields for aesthetics, thank you very much.

AWE SHIT! You're pushing the envelope with hot chicks in boring Audis. Who's the show off now? Jerk...

Take this!

Oh BTW, typing "Audi Chick" into Google on your work computer may not be the best move for your career.
