New tire...and a new rim...UGH!

Well, its happened again.... Coming up and over a hill here in Dallas, I came upon road debris I could not avoid (a car was to my left, curb to the right). My sidewall blew out and the rim is toast! Guess I should be glad I got the tire/rim warranty....

What is the tire/rim warranty? Is that something separate from the 50K 4 year warranty?

I purchased from the dealer. 5yr rim and tire protection plan. Sad part is, the dealer called and wasn't sure if the rim was repairable. I have the gunmetal A-Spec rims, which were discontinued 3 years ago. UGH! So, I might end up with a new sparkling silver rim. How much does it cost to have a rim refinished??? I'd look like a dumba$$ with one rim not match...
