Has anyone replaced all 4 Pax tires? I was wondering if you would share the ballpark cost? I expect it may be around 2k, but just a hunch..

I don't think I want to depax, so I want to get ready so there isn't sticker shock.

This is dated information from the nearest authorized PAX dealer that is not a Honda dealer, who won't touch Acuras, anyway...at least in northern VA, at the time I did the research. At the time, $2K was about right.

In our local Utah online classifieds, someone is looking to get rid of their RL PAX wheels and tires for $250.00 (looks like he just dropped the price from $350). Not sure if they would ship since most of the postings on the site are usually for pickup, but it might be worth a shot to contact the seller if you're interested. (I thought about buying them, but since I have a 2005 RL, the PAX wheels/tires wouldn't work with my year.)

You would definitely need to talk to the seller because 245 x17 does not compute. The biggest expense would the shipping at 300 lbs, and you should also make sure to get the lug nuts.

Perhaps the Odyssey had 17" PAX tires. I'd be cautious but if they are close, go take a look.

I have a set of rims/tires mounted off my RL that I'm selling. Two of the tires have over 80% of their tread life left. I don't know what the shipping costs would be, but if your interested let me know. I'm in NJ.

I have a complete set (tires, wheels and TPMS) with 20k miles on them for sale and I live in SoCal.

There's a set on eBay right now...brand new take-offs. Wheels, center caps, TPMS, etc. The only problem is they're in Reno, NV and the asking price is $2,299.00 plus $200 shipping.

I personally would only buy new ones, just cuz used tires almost seems like an oxymoron.. I know it isn't buy the concept of a used tire and buying it, just doesn't make too much sense to me.. and guess what...

I took my rl 2007 to the dealer for rotate and oil change.. and they didn't do the rotate cuz they said my tires are balding.. the inside 1" on all 4 is worn.. funny cuz I thought my tires were good cuz the rest of the tread is still pretty decent. I was really surprised cuz I rotated every other oil change and maye 1 or 2 times consecutively.. My car drives straight, so I have no idea while ALL 4 have the exact same wear pattern.. it doesn't drive like it is unbalanced (not sure if one could feel this) or alignment is off.. I have 45,000 miles. I think I will go for another 10k miles.. I am not looking forward to the replacement cost.. I would never buy a pax tire again unless I can buy the Rolls Royce . then who cares, right.. Whaaaaaaaa~~~
