Anyone have any experience with the Bridgestone Potenze RE970AS's?? DAM!!!!! These things blow away the Michelin Pilot sports and even blow away the DWS in numerous categories. I noticed they do not make a 245/50/17 for my RL but what about going with 235/50?? Is this super new that they might come out with a 245/50?? What do you think? They way they rate I do not mind going with a slightly smaller tire! The ratings seem to good to be true! JMHO!

 

The tires are brand new. There's a much better chance they will be made in the 245/50R17 size now that the new TL with 17's shares that size. Other than the 4th gen TL and the 2nd gen RL I can't think of any other cars that carry that size from the factory. That's the reason why we don't have too many choices in 17" tires for our cars. Bridgestone makes a great product by the way. Right up there with Michelin on top of the tire market.
